Dan Rivera Recognized by CBP

Dan Rivera was honored by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) U. S. Border Patrol Tucson and Houlton Sector Intelligence Units for his dedicated support and efforts that resulted in significant developments to the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Intelligence Enterprise. Dan is a seasoned instructor with experience in both classroom and online training. His ability to quickly learn and understand mission needs and integrate them into his training curriculum has supported the CBP with notable results.

His distinctive training style allowed for the U.S. Border Patrol to conduct quicker targeting of High Value Targets (HVTs) derived from the following threat streams: Terrorism, Alien Smuggling, Drug Smuggling, Human Trafficking, Weapon Smuggling, Money Laundering, Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, and various other threats to the American Homeland. At DHS, Mr. Rivera’s efforts served as a force-multiplier that positively impacted the successful apprehension and prosecution of numerous HVTs.

Congrats Dan on the well-deserved recognition, and your commitment to keeping the Homeland safe!
